Life Skills Clinic
At the Life Skills Clinic on 2nd August, they had a new-born (7 days old) with spina bifida, who was due to travel to Mbarara with the children who are going to attend the Hydrocephalus clinic on Wednesday, and then probably stay the night there and travel on to Mbale for surgery.
Uganda Charitable Spine Mission
On Saturday 6th August, Jones travels up to Kampala with 8 children who are going to see the surgeons from the Uganda Charitable Spine Mission, for initial assessment on Monday 8th. They have kyphosis, scoliosis etc. Last week, 6 children who had already been operated on previously by this team were up in Kampala for review and further treatment. The Uganda Charitable Spine Mission pay for accommodation costs, travel, x rays and treatment – which is usually very expensive.

Vocational Training for Deaf Young People
On 10th August, Warren drives up to Kampala to fetch the Mengo school children, and he is also taking 2 youngsters from Wakiso secondary school for the deaf who have been accepted at a Vocational Training school, which is on the Entebbe Road, just outside Kampala.

On 14th August, the children for plastic surgery at CoRSU hospital are going up to Kampala for assessment on the 15th.
